“Unity in Harmony.” Exhibition of paintings by Indian artists curated by Devika Verma

From January 7 to 9, 2026, the International Memorial Roerich Trust hosted an exhibition of paintings by a group of Indian artists, organized by the creative association “LA Art Convention” in collaboration with the Dubai International Art Center. The exhibition was prepared under the guidance of Devika Verma, an artist, founder, and director of “LA Art Convention”, an organization that brings together more than 150 artists and successfully holds exhibitions in prestigious Art Centers in India, as well as at the Art Center in Dubai. The exhibition at the Roerich Estate in Naggar was the fourth season of “Unity in Harmony”.

Indian and Russian curators of the IRMT warmly welcomed Devika Verma and all participants of the exhibition – both those who managed to come to Kullu to attend the opening in person and those who provided their paintings for the exhibition.

Twenty-three artists from different states of India took part in the exhibition. Among them, besides Devika Verma, were artists such as Pooja Dalal, Juhi, Antara Pain, Preeti Mauria, Shalabha Sarath, Rahul Dhiman, Alina, Devika Chopra, Nidhi Gupta, Shailaja, Himani Dawar, Navya, Pinki Lahiri, Chitakshi, Arundhati Barakataky, Alka Sharma, Arnab Hota, Amogh Mahawar, Anjali Mehra, Sunita Goel, Garima Nayyarm, Rachna Suri. 

All these artists share a deep connection with Indian spirituality and culture. This trait is inherent in Devika Verma herself and allows her to interact sensitively and deeply with the art of other artists, creating a space where the voices of both emerging and established artists resonate in unison. This was evidenced by the exhibition at the IRMT, which brought together paintings of various styles and genres in a single harmonious sound, like a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, in the words of Devika herself. 

She dedicated the exhibition at the Roerich Estate to her parents, expressing her sincere gratitude to them in the foreword to the Catalog: “Your guidance, encouragement, and generosity have empowered me to pursue my passion and bring this event to life. This exhibition is a reflection of your love and support, for which I will always be deeply grateful. Thank you for standing by my side and helping me turn a dream into reality.”
