Opening of group art exhibition ‘Oneness' at the IRMT

Painting exhibition was organised at the International Roerich Memorial Trust jointly by the IRMT and Mahsu Art Society, Shimla headed by renowned artist prof. Bhader Singh. International exhibition was inaugurated by Russian Curator of the IRMT Mrs. Larisa Surgina and Indian Curator of the IRMT Mr. Suresh Kumar.

The organization is dedicated to provide a connection between the artists and the art lovers. With its varied events, the organization works to put forward the talent of different artists working in various media and genres of art. 

Mahsu Art Society Shimla is a Shimla-based organization with a belief that art has the power to bridge humanity. It is an ideology that the possibilities for excellence in art should reach far and wide, and benefit all those gifted artists who may not necessarily be privileged enough to receive training at the centre but remain on the periphery.   

Eighteen artists take part in the exhibition. The exhibition presents artworks of both professionals and budding artists, including Tirthankar Biswas from Delhi, Prof Him Chatterjee from H.P., Pardeep Verma from Chandigarh, Dr Bhader Singh from H.P., Puran Thapa from Nepal, Aditya Singh Thakur from H.P., Kudriashova Meera from Russia, Arwinder Singh from Punjab, Vikas Singh Kham from H.P, Jamuna Gurung from Nepal, Susmita Rai from Nepal, Sushma Sharma from H.P., Sapna Chauhan from H.P., Kritika from H.P., Shalini Giri from H.P., Nirmala from H.P., Komal Yadav from H.P. and Ruchika from H.P.

The show comprises paintings and prints, ranging from figurative compositions to coloured and mystical creations devoid of human presence. In short, this exhibit contributes to its central goal, which is to bridge the gap between art and humanity.
