Gurpreet Singh and Parul Bhagat Exhibition at IRMT
An exhibition of two Indian professional artists was held at the International Roerich Memorial Trust from May 28 to June 1, 2022. It was solemnly opened by the Indian and Russian curators of the IRMT Suresh Kumar and Larisa Surgina.
The exhibition featured landscapes, still lifes, and portraits made in different techniques, but equally appealing in their beauty, attention to details, and love for the nature of India and its sacred places.
Artist Parul Bhagat presents her work at the IRMT for the first time. She likes to write in oil, to use acrylic paints, to work in watercolor technique. The beauty of the Kulu Valley and the special creative atmosphere of the Roerich estate inspired the artist and made her want to come here again.
Gurpreet Singh of Mansa, Punjab has already presented his paintings at the IRMT on several occasions. His works are participants in many group exhibitions, and he regularly attends artists' camps. He has a preference for acrylic paints, and most of the works on display are in acrylic painting techniques.
