An exciting Art exhibition of five talented artists from different parts of India - Rudraraj, Rudradev, Mohak, Madhavi and Mugdhi Uttekar - was organized at the Exhibition Hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust in Naggar on May 17.

The inauguration was conducted by National Award winning artist Pomi Koushik who cut the ribbon. The event was attended by many renowned collectors and art lovers who visited the exhibition and appreciated the works of the artists.

Artist Rudraraj's paintings based on hieroglyphics are reminiscent of ancient writings that are deep, mysterious and arouse curiosity in the viewers. His art introduces the viewer to a unique spiritual experience.

The subjects of Rudradev's series of charcoal and ochre paintings are abstract and have similar shapes and outlines.  These works make us think about what the artist wanted to convey in his work, what issues of inner and outer life of a person are of concern to him.

Madhavi's works are inspired by her decision to make Himachal Pradesh her home. She paints various landscapes of Himachal and weaves into them her central theme of the interconnectedness of the relationship between man and nature. Her paintings are a fusion of realism and fantasy.

Artist Mugdhi's art explores spiritual symbolism. She enjoys experimenting with different materials, colors and textures, which gives her work a unique and deep meaning.

Artist Mohak creates his works from ceramics. His works are inspired by different forms of nature, he is especially fond of the sea. The unusual outlines of coral, fish, and sea plants invite viewers to experience the beauty and diversity of marine life.

More than 55 paintings and art products presented at the exhibition aroused sincere interest of visitors by the variety of themes and subjects, the combination of traditions and the search for new meanings.
