On 5 June, the exhibition of artists from the 'Astitva' Group, directed by Anjali Sethi Malhotra, was inaugurated in the IRMT exhibition hall.

Madam Malhotra has an excellent reputation at the IRMT, and this is not her first project at the Roerichs' estate in Naggar. She is the inspiration and curator of the Astitva Group and the Kalanjali Art Studio. Astitva supports artists from all over India by providing a platform for group exhibitions and inspiring them to express themselves without any restrictions. Astitva's exhibitions are known for their diverse range of themes, genres and techniques, which consistently surprise and delight audiences. The core principle of 'Astitva', as the name suggests (the words 'asti' and 'tva' mean 'to be' and 'suchness' or originality), is the artists' commitment to creative inspiration and their own distinctive artistic style.

On this occasion, the creative association's exhibition featured works by 25 artists. The following artists participated: Anjali Sethi Malhotra, Deepak Sharma, Beena Bhatt, Shikha Gupta, Kaamana Gupta, Subhra Roy, Devendra Jawaji, Neeharika Singh, Sangeeta Goel, Hiral Singhal, Viidhu Sharma, Vandana Pandey, Anjula Pandey, Mansi Gupta, Swati Garg, Sambedana D. Mohapatra, Mahua Sinha, Deepshikha, Manju Chouhan, Purnima Arora, Vibha Singh, Ramesh Rana, Dr Minaxi Gupta, Prasoon Parijat and Deepak Biswal. The artists utilise a variety of techniques, including pastel, watercolour, acrylic, oil, ink and fumage. Prasoon Parijat and Kaamana Gupta showcased their sculptural compositions, crafted from resinated fibre and terracotta, respectively.

Dmitry Surgin, Assistant to the Russian Curator and ICR employee, attended the opening of the exhibition as a guest of honour. The exhibition was also visited by Alexander Stetsenko, Vice-President of the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow), and Larisa Surgina, Russian Curator of the IRMT and ICR employee. They expressed their admiration for the artists' works and wished them further success.
