Anil Kumar Sinha and R.S.Shakya exhibition

On May 7-13, 2017 the International Roerich Memorial Trust hosted the group exhibition of paintings by two senior Indian artists:

Noida-based Anil Kumar Sinha and Lucknow-based R.S.Shakya.

The artist, photographer, documentary film maker, social worker and writer Mr Sinha displayed his recent series of small-size abstract works in acrylic.

Mr Shakya’s work displayed in the exhibition is centered on the nature, whose untamed power he masterfully captures in strokes of green, purple, red and blue. In some of his paintings one can see tiny human figures harmoniously blending in with the landscape and skillfully contrasted with awe-inspiring trees reaching into the sky.
