According to the official sources, Moscow, July 26, 2016, “Chief of Staff of the Russian President, Mr Sergey Ivanov on Tuesday awarded the Order of Friendship to Mr Alexander M. Kadakin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India. The ceremony took place in St. Catherine’s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow. The Russian Envoy’s accomplishments in making Russian-Indian strategic partnership stronger are well-known in both the countries and abroad. For decades, Ambassador Alexander Kadakin has been tirelessly working to boost mutually beneficial cooperation and promote better understanding between the two nations both in his official capacity and, through his writings, as a highly professional scholar of India. He has done a lot for spreading Hindi as an official means of communication.
