Getting here:

The Himalayan Roerich Estate is perched on the mountain slope in Naggar overlooking the picturesque Kullu valley framed by magnificent mountain peaks that remain snow-capped for half a year.

Naggar is exactly halfway between the district center Kullu and the famous tourist destination Manali and is easily accessible by road.

The closest international airport is the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. It is connected to the city of Delhi  by metro.

From Delhi:

- Take any bus bound for Manali and get off at Patlikuhl. The trip takes approximately 14 hours, which makes overnight journey popular and preferable.

(The buses depart from Mandi House/Himachal Bhawan (Metro Station: Mandi House) and from ISBT (Metro Station: Kashmiri Gate)).

- Take a local bus or a taxi (shared or individual) from Patlikuhl to Naggar (distance: 5 km) and tell the driver to take you to Roerich Art Gallery as the IRMT popularly known. 

From Chandigarh, Shimla and Dharamsala:

- Take any bus bound for Manali and get off at Patlikuhl. Rest as above.

From Manali:

- Hire a taxi for a half-day return trip or board local bus to Kullu (via Jagatsukh, Tapu and Naggar). One-way bus trip will take minimum 1 hour. The last government bus departs from Manali at 5 pm.
